If you’re reading this, then I guess my first mission is accomplished!
Who am I?
My name is Annstella Mumbi and I have dedicated my life’s work to the synergy of community development and technology. Being an engineer and community developer, I believe technology and especially IoT, should be used to make everyday life and work simpler and more efficient especially in an African context, simple.
Why do I blog?
I want to highlight some of the biggest sectors techpreneurs can work and incorporate tech to make systems work more effectively, be it shipping, logistics, transport, education or even everyday home life for Africans.
Therefore, you can expect blogs about new trends in African markets, my thoughts on different institutions, start-ups and companies and finally, my thoughts on governance and politics every now and then. Working on a tech start-up myself (Nuovo), I will also share the tips and tricks learned on my business and tech journey.
For any lovers of ‘Tech for Africa by Africans’, I hope my thoughts will speak to your very soul and challenge you to join the tech change-maker bandwagon.
I would really love to hear from you so reach out through any of the avenues listed on my ‘ABOUT’ page.
Above all, enjoy, challenge yourself and Dare To Be Different!
Love,
AS
